Not only is strength one of the 10 Components of Fitness, it also plays a large role in progress with CrossFit. If you're looking to take your fitness to the next level this year, incorporating the 12L Strength program to your regular CrossFit programming can benefit your overall fitness.
The cycle is starting June 28th and is designed for athletes who want to continue CrossFitting and increase strength.
The cycle is 2x/week.
The current strength group meets on Tuesday/Thursdays at 12L BWI and will be doing the same for this next cycle. The class is from 5-7PM.

The Strength Program is a 16-week progression focusing on:
· Bench Press
· Strict Press
Each cycle is dedicated to perfecting movements and core strength in each lift. While we include muscle building through accessory work and isolated training for overall strength, class members will be able to and encouraged to attend some group WODs for additional conditioning. This strength program is designed to give athletes the ability to increase their baseline strengths (for barbell movements and beyond), and let them partake in the regular 12 Labours CrossFit programming.
CrossFit, endurance athletes, and powerlifting-specific athletes have all found success with the 12L Barbell strength cycles. Coach Jared will work with you to make sure the program helps you reach your goals.
At the end of the cycle, participants will have a "Total Day" to test their 1RM Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Get the PR board ready.
