The Open is here...

The CrossFit Games season is one of the main pillars of the 12 Labours CrossFit programming. From fitness enthusiasts to Regional and Games level athletes, our programming follows a regimen from January to August that leads up to the competition in Carson.

12L Training schedule

This programming structure was discussed in a recent blog article, laying out the goals of each training cycle. We are currently gearing up for the most exciting and community-driven part of our training: The Open.

The Open is a five-week, five workout event that puts your fitness to the test. Each week, one workout is released and athletes have one week to finish and submit their scores. Many gyms from across the country host community workouts where all members can complete the workout together.

The Open is an opportunity to improve, challenge your peers, and see where you stack up against athletes of your level from all around the world.

This event kicks off on February 25the with a live announcement. All 12 Labours locations will complete the Open workouts every Saturday. Athletes will have the opportunity to join members from all three gyms at a rotating location, or complete at their home gym during Saturday classes.

PLAN AHEAD. The pre-determined location for the Community Open Workouts will be held at the following locations. This COULD change depending on the workout that is released and equipment/space needed. The first heat of workouts will begin at 10 AM.

16.5 March 26 @ BWI (* post-Open potluck *)
