12L Barbell: New Strength Cycle

CrossFit just got a lot stronger. (Donuts may or may not be included)

It's time for another strength cycle with 12 Labours Barbell. This cycle kicks of on May 5th and is focused on athletes who want to continue CrossFitting and get stronger.

Until now, all strength programs were 3x/week. This next cycle will be 2x/week with an optional 3rd day of open gym.

What you need to know

The Strength Program is a 16-week progression focusing on:

· Squat

· Bench Press

· Deadlift

· Strict Press

Each session is dedicated to perfecting the movements while also focusing on core strength. Conditioning is also included every week; working between sprints, auxiliary circuits, and heavy MetCons. This programming will meld well with the regular 12 Labours CrossFit programming.

At the end of the cycle, participants will have a "Total Day" to test their 1RM Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Get the PR board ready.

The Specifics

The new cycle starts Tuesday, May 5th, 2015.

The first week of class will be focused on movement foundations.

Classes are on Tuesday/Thursday 5pm-7pm and Open Gym Saturday 10am-12pm.

Members who can’t make scheduled class times are allowed to attend open gym hours to complete their workout for the day.
