Growing up I dabbled in a lot of sports, but soccer and gymnastics were the main focus through my high school years.

After college I turned to long distance running and ran a number of half and full marathons. I started CrossFit in 2013 and paired it with powerlifting in which I competed in for a stint. Then for the last eight years CrossFit has been my main squeeze.

 

Favorite 12 Labours Memory

My favorite 12 Labours memory is walking in the doors as a new member and being given such a warm welcome by everyone in the gym. The culture and community at 12 Labours is palpable from the onset and makes it such a special place.

I'm an elementary school teacher on an extended break to be a CrossFit coach and mom.

Why do I coach?

I coach CrossFit to help athletes achieve what they did not before think they were capable of doing. I’ve seen that conquering challenges inside the gym transforms people's confidence outside the gym as well and I love being a part of that. It's also so fulfilling to see that spark of learning that an athlete experiences when they finally get something- helping people to learn a new skill or refine their movement brings me so much joy.
