The Annapolis District is starting a new class for the Masters crowd that will be the perfect way for the 55+ population to get fit and maintain a high quality of life and independence as they age. Coach Mary Fey says, “I believe that CrossFit is the key to successful aging! As someone who started CrossFit at the age of 53 and is now 63, I can say without question that I am stronger and fitter than I was when I was 40.”


Joining Silver Lions and working on your fitness now will make you better able to play with your grandkids, lift and carry things around the house, decrease your fall risk, have more energy, and maintain a healthy body composition for many years to come. Do you want to be a more functional and independent person as you age? Then Silver Lions is for you!



Silver Lions will be coached by Mary Fey, a registered nurse and CrossFit Level 2 trainer who specializes in training aging athletes. The program will utilize the functional movements of CrossFit and tailor them to the 55+ population to increase strength, core stability, and balance, all while keeping safety and injury prevention at the forefront of the program.
